......eight years ago I blogged this card! Pre Sony digital camera, pre editing/cropping with Picasa, pre watermark, pre lightbox (outside on the old picnic table) - simpler times!! I still have my Snowy stamp and it's still one of my favourites. Not too sure about that thin random ribbon - what was I thinking!!

Hello, I'm Liz McGuire. I have been designing and making cards for over 10 years, serving on numerous design teams and completing assignments for various papercraft magazines.
Along with my cardmaking I like to try my hand at art journaling, memory keeping, smash books etc. And there is also my new obsession - planners and stationery! So there may be the occasional blog post on these topics.
I do have a real job but that's just to earn enough money to buy paper, stamps, pens and, of course, buttons!

Hi Liz.....how fashions change and our expertise too. As for the ribbon...it was then and yes you would perhaps do it differently now....even so i think it is a lovely stamp and card....better than any shop bought! So go on ...show us what you would do with Mr Snowy now! Hugs xx

So cute! I've looked back at some of my first cards and am amazed that I actually sent them. This charming snow guy has stood the test of time.

It's always interesting to look back and discover how our cardmaking has developed! I love that stamp and always wish I'd bought it for myself. I bought it for a friend who was interested in getting into cardmaking - I don't think she ever took it up seriously! Have a happy day, Jo x
I love this snowman stamp and had been searching for one to buy for ages, finally found one online last year. He looks gorgeous whatever colour you choose, I just love his happy face. This card looks lovely to me.
