wonderful in every way
Hello. Thanks for all the comments on my cardstock offcuts post. Some great ideas there and when I have a few spare minutes I am going to do a bit of a re-organisation. But I think it's fair to say that the majority of us crafters never, ever, ever throw anything out!
So, today's card. Well I'm sticking with the plan to use my Simon Says Stamp monthly kits and here is a card using the June kit. I cased one of the cards on the inspiration sheet just changing the sentiment to one from the Everyday Greetings set by Mama Elephant.

A day in the life...
Hello. Recently I was asked to write about a typical day in the Buttons for Brains household. It was great fun to do and made me realise just how much us crafters can pack into one day! You can read the article in the latest issue of
Now for something completely different. When does a piece of cardstock become too small to keep? This is the box where I keep all the cardstock I have 'cut into'.
It has become very unruly!
Handy pieces for diecutting and whatnot but I spend an age looking for the perfect bit and end up just going to the 'new' box.....
So what do you think? Is it worth spending time sparing the larger bits from the re-cycle bin? What does everyone else do with their bits? I'd love to know.

You're perfect
Hello. Well so far so good with my planner. It's keeping me on the straight and narrow with my makes and blog posts. However, the proof of the pudding will be next week when I start working on magazine commissions again and my playtime will be limited (I know, I know, mag' work is playing too).
My new filing system for my Simon Says Stamp kits is also working. This little card was made using the September 14 kit. Love the stamp set that came with this kit. All the little bits to fill the stamped shelves are separate tiny stamps so that you can mix and match. I used a bit of the washi tape over the patterned paper and now that I see it this tape will be perfect on my planner, so I'm off to do that right now!

Trimcraft Santoro Card
Hello. I don't do many 8x8 cards, I find the space quite hard to fill! But when you are sent so many gorgeous Trimcraft papers and embellies you need to use them.....
I will be out and about throughout 2015 at The Range in Scotland. Dates have still to be firmed up but I will update my page here as soon as I know all the details.
All the products used on my card are from the Santoro range - decoupage, papers, pearl and diamante adornments, adhesive pearls and metal charms.
