Hedgehogs!

Hello. When my crafty mojo does a runner I turn to my Penny Black hedgehogs. Colour these cute little hedgies and then the card almost makes itself! The one above is 'game on' and below is 'born wild'. I coloured with my Inktense pencils.

Hello. I think little Mrs Witchie and Mr Frankenstein's Monster are more cute than scary, don't you agree? The spooky papers, stickers and that stamp are from this months Sweet Treat Box from Paper, Pen and Plan. I know, how many makes can that girl make from one box of stash?

Hello. The girls over at Paper, Pen and Plan run a 'just for fun' challenge called Messy Monday. Each week is a different theme. I've been using the challenge to add pages to my art journal. The page above is 'paint' and the page below is 'song lyrics'.

Halloween!

Hello. I have something a little different today. Using papers from my September Sweet Treat Box from Paper, Pen and Plan I made new decorations for my tree. This tree lives in the corner of the crafty room and it's had hearts and flowers on it all summer. It's now decked out for spooky season.  

I also made two cards using the papers and some of the co-ordinating stickers. And I still have loads left to do a few pages in my Simple Stories album - a project for next month I think!

Hello. I'm still really taken with my Stamping Bella stamps. This one is 'fairy garden house'. I watercoloured the stamped image and stencilled the background.

Hello. Woohoo, I won the Seven Hills Crafts monthly challenge with this card. I'm so happy that my card was chosen by the lovely team over there but I'm even happier about the £20 I get to spend in my favourite shop!

And here is my entry for this month's challenge which is 'spotlight it'. The stamp is from the 'photo bomb' set by Mama Elephant. And the (perfectly matched) paper is from 'sketchbook' by Amy Tangerine.

you're gnome spring chicken

Hello. I bought this stamp set - 'gnome spring chicken' by Creative Expressions in the sale at my local crafty shop. A few of the stamps in the set are clearly Spring-like but I thought there was enough for me to use throughout the year. And, you know me, I can't resist a punny sentiment!
