Just for you

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, got lots of lovely pressies and didn't over indulge too much. I would love to say that normal service has resumed on my neglected little blog but Hogmanay is just around the corner and here in Bonnie Scotland we celebrate, big style!

This is the card I made for my darling hubby's birthday. Lots of heat embossing, stencilling and inking. The two images are from an Urban stamp set by Papermania, New York and Rome two of his favourite holiday destinations.

I am entering three challenges...

for you...just because

Everything Christmassy has left the crafty room, safely packed away in the crafty room overflow, formerly known as the hall cupboard! I have returned to my favourite pastels, with not a drop of glitter in sight! The image is a Jellypark freebie you get if you are a club member. I would urge you to join, all the freebies are adorable. I coloured with my Prisma pencils (my short video on using these pencils is here). The papers are by Lili of the Valley.

I am entering two challenges....

Cupcake... Merry Christmas
DigiGalore...Anything Goes

Well that's it from me tonight, busy, busy!

Saturday 8 December 2012

merry & bright

Did you know the DigiStamp Boutique now stocks digi papers? A gorgeous selection of colours and patterns. From brights to pastels and from dots to stripes. One of the cool things about digi papers is that you can re-size them. Do what I did and print off both patterns on the one sheet the exact size for your card. Great, if like me, you are now pushed for time and want to get a little production line going! The image is also from the boutique here and comes pre-coloured, what could be easier. Add a snowflake, a button and some twine, job done!

I am entering three challenges...

Digital Tuesday...non traditional Christmas
Simon Says...snowflakes
