This weeks challenge is 'no patterned paper'. Yikes! I love my papers so this truly was a real challenge for me. I stamped and embossed the daisies to make my own background. Watercoloured the little owl and added some prima flowers and gems to finish.

Papertake Challenge Katharinas Sketch No.5
This is the first time I have made a card using a sketch. I have to say I did enjoy putting the elements together this way. All the circles have been cut using my nesties and the stamps are all from one of those little sets by Dovecraft. Unfortunately I can't recall the make of the background paper as this was a little piece I had left over from a 12x12 sheet.

Blog Candy Alert
Get yourselves over to White Ribbon cards. Susie has some wonderful candy up for grabs to celebrate 15,000 hits. A link to her blog is listed just over there to the right.
Daring Cardmakers Challenge, Just A Quick One
I think I am becoming addicted to these wonderful challenge blogs I have just recently discovered. This one was to try and make a card in 30 minutes. Well this took about 10 minutes to choose my papers, 10 minutes to diecut and emboss thru' the bigshot and 10 minutes to put it all together. So give or take a few minutes here and there I make that 30 minutes. Result!

Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 5
Well I finally got surgery to remove the watercolour pencils from my hand. Here is a simple card for this weeks challenge which was 'Checks Galore'.
Cute Card Thursday Challenge 15
This weeks challenge was 'Make a Birthday Card' and here is mine.
I bought this book of background papers by Dena's Closet while on a recent holiday in Florida. This is the first time I have used it and I think it has become one of my faves. The circles have been cut with nestabilities (can't wait to get other shapes) and I have embossed using Swiss dots. The stamp is by Whipper Snapper and it has been watercoloured the usual way. The 'make a wish' stamp has been highlighted with glossy accents.
Ouch, Ouch I've Been Doubled Tagged.
I think they lie in wait of a newbie coming along and then pounce. So you have Max and Cambiel to thank for making me share this useless info' about me.
This is how it goes -
Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.
Ten years ago:

Animal Competition on Crafts Beautiful Forum
For this months comp on the CB forum you had to craft something that featured an animal. Here is my entry. I used doodlebug papers, nestabilities circles and the elephant image is from Cuddly Buddly. I watercoloured the elephant and balloons and then used my glossy accents on the balloons. This is the first time I have used the accents and I think they work well.

British Flag Challenge
Here is the card I made for Tiggertastic's fab challenge over on the Crafts Beautiful forum.
The project had to include red, white and blue to show our support for the Brits at Wimbledon and the Olympics.
The image is from a penny black set and I cut the circles with my new nestabilities (great mail order service from Sir Stampalot).
Whoopee, first post.
So here we go.
This is an anniversary card I made for my friend. I posted it on the Crafts Beautiful forum and was so chuffed when it was featured on the net savvy pages in the July issue.
The stamp is Simon and Lola from the Sugar Nellie range and I coloured it with my trusty water colour pencils.
I hope you like it.
