Minty Dreams Collage

Hello. Today I'm sharing a page in my Minty Dreams passport size journal. I had watercoloured a few of the Julie Nutting Merry doll stamps a week or so ago and decided to fussy cut one and add it to a journal page. The background is simply callaged using Prima Misty Rose pieces and washi tape.

A really quick and easy journal page! The Julie Nutting stamps and the Misty Rose collection is available over at Paper, Pen and Plan. Quote LIZ10 for 10% off.

Blogger's Journal - part 2

Hello. Following on from this blog post I thought I would give you a quick update and a sneak peek inside, now that I've started using it! To add to the 'design team schedules' and 'notes & ideas' inserts I shared in the previous blog post I have added a 'creative diary'....

I've laid out one week to a double page. The days of the week are stamped using Prima Travellers Journal stamp set. The monthly grid is a stencil from this months Sweet Treat box. I stencilled with a small chalk ink pad and then the numbers are simply written on top! I have stencilled a calender on each page.

In the design team schedules insert here is the Paper, Pen and Plan section. 'Must do's' on the left side and ideas for future posts on the left. The plastic insert wallet at the back is the perfect place to keep my monthly stencil and other bits and bobs!

you are so nice

Hello. I have a little Penny Black card to share today. This one is called 'garden visit'. We have a lot of this type of garden visit, especially since normal service has resumed and it's raining! But, I'm very careful, I certainly don't want to feel or hear a crunch underfoot!!

The sentiment is from the 'I Like You' set by Technique Tuesday, I stamped the image using my Versafine ink pad and coloured using watercolours (my new Altenew ones - they're delicious!). And that's some more paper used up!

happy birthday

Hello. My staging is a little bit random here! A flamingo and dear knows what that is with a striped beak, but, I guess if a bear can drive a bus, I can do random staging!!

The stamp is 'birthday bus' by Avery Elle and I coloured using my watercolour pencils. And, that's another 6x6 bit of patterned paper used up!

blogger's journal

Hello. The notebook above has served me well for the last few months but when I got this gorgeous Carpe Diem travellers notebook cover I knew that my blogging notes were getting an upgrade! The charm, a super cute mini silver ruler, from this months Sweet Treat box, is the perfect touch.

Inside I covered the notebooks and added page tabs using the papers and washi tape from this months Sweet Treat box. I added some seam binding to the back covers.

The little bull dog clips are the perfect size to hold my little pads securely to the back cover.

At the back I have a plastic planner wallet holding some useful bits and bobs for planning on the go! The plastic wallets are available here in the Paper, Pen and Plan Etsy shop. Quote LIZ10 for 10% off.

I really have no excuse for missing any deadlines!

hugs & kisses

Hello. Last month I told you about some new stamps I had just discovered (this blog post here) by Tracey Hey at Alpaca Pals. Well today I've had fun watercolouring stamps from the 'with love' set. I stamped the flowers onto my square piece of watercolour card and the bird onto a scrap piece. I then fussy cut the bird and popped it on using 3D foam pads. A really quick and easy card, but, I think, very effective.

Have you entered my magazine giveaway here?

Plan with me!

Hello. I'm switching it up for August! I've moved my planning back into my KikkiK Pause planner. And, I am using some free printables from Cocoa Daisy. How gorgeous are these daisies?

Loving my new planner clips from Doodle and Dot (planner girl and cute cat). I also got an adorable elephant but I'm saving him for another project! So many gorgeous clips, so hard to choose!

But, of course, I've got to stamp somewhere!

You may be able to catch a glimpse of them in the July flip through which you can see here.

Here are links to blog posts for April, May and June. From those blog posts there are links to that months flip through!

let the good times roll!

Hello. This month's challenge at Creative Inspirations is...Holidays!
There's a £20 gift voucher from Craftie Charlie up for grabs.

I've made a very quick and easy card featuring a cute Penny Black pup all set for a road trip! I'm almost having as much fun looking for items to stage beside my card as making the card itself. Who knew there was a little toy car in the kitchen 'messy' drawer! And, it was found after I had painted the stamp blue - spooky!!
