Let the beauty we love...

Hello. I've missed the last few Unity Facebook challenges but when I saw this week was 'butterflies' I had to join in. Butterflies are one of me favourite things on a card. This butterfly is from the May 2014 kit of the month. It's a real modern take on a butterfly!

I'm a bit peeved tho'. In real life the butterflies are a lovely lilac and soft green colour. But try as I might - daylight on the window ledge, lightbox, adjusting the angle - they look blue! You'll just need to take my word for it!!

Yesterday I was at the beauty salon for a haircut - I also got my mousy brown/white/grey hair coloured. I am now lovely shades of blonde (and looking to have more fun!) It's taking a bit of getting used to but hubby says I'm very cute - bless him. I've never had my hair coloured before, quite the experience, and who knew there was another use for tin foil!!

These butterflies are lovely, I have so many Unity stamps I want to ink up but time is not on my side most of the time.

Absolutely beautiful - I love those butterflies, never seen ones quite like it. And I love the soft stencilling in the background. I've never had my hair coloured either but it does look fun - I'm just black with lots of silver ;) Xx

I love your card Liz with your fab background stenciling and those butterflies are very unusual...and they are lilac on my screen.Very pretty. I am sure your hair is lovely ...let me know if you have some 'fun' as a result. My hubby is the only one that ever notices when I have my hair done!!...where would we be without them ! Hope all is OK xx
