Hello. Simply Cards and Papercraft issue 134 has hit the shelves today. My article is a review of the new Chameleon Colour Tone pens plus six cards. Want to know what I thought of these pens? Well, you'll need to buy the mag! 

The free gift is a gorgeous dragonfly and stamp set. So, you know the drill. Wherever you are, whatever supermarket or newsagent you are in - move them to the front! (but don't forget to buy one, it's a great crafty read and choc full of inspiration).

For my card I chose option 3 - use Kraft card. The stamps are from the 'Laugh Out Loud' set by Clearly Besotted and I coloured using Prismacolour pencils.

Let Your Dreams Take Flight

Hello. Here I am with another new stamp set, I know, I had a bit of a spending spree this month! This little cutie is from a Wplus9 stamp set called 'Unforgettable'. The sentiment is from a Lil'Inker Designs set and I coloured with watercolour pencils.

I am entering the In The Pink challenge - cute (in the hope that it's pink enough!)

I am well behind with my blog visits at the mo', but I will catch up, promise. I need to check up on what you have all been up to!

 

DigiStamp Boutique - design team card

Hello. I'm here a little later than usual - I had internet connection problems. All a bit of a mystery why but tech department (hubby) has fixed it. Although I think it was gonna come back on all by itself anyway!

So, the next big event in the cardmaking world is Mothers Day. The DigiStamp Boutique has just released three new floral sets, perfect for this occasion and all on special offer. I have used set three which you can find here. I used Copic pens to colour the images and the papers are 'bundle of joy' by Echo Park.

Three Amigos

Hello. I've been having a bit of a play with a new stamp set. It's called Three Amigos by Mama Elephant (great service from Make The Day Special). You get the three characters and loads of little words and sayings to stamp inside the cards they are holding.

I coloured the top card using Copic pens and the one below with watercolour pencils. I've not watercoloured for ages and I had forgotten how much I love doing it. So, you will be seeing more watercolouring from me over the next wee while (and I've got more new stamps to play with).

Magazine Article - DIY decoupage

Hello. I'm just popping on to let you know two things! 

Firstly, issue 117 of Papercraft Essentials has hit the shelves and my article is all about how you can layer up digi images.

Somebunny loves you

Hello. Since I got my planner I am much more organised. I was never really all that dis-organised and I suppose I got my planner as something to decorate and play with. But, it actually does work. I guess that it makes me more focussed and I don't dither as much! It has magically found me time, even although it uses time to fill it in! 

So, with my new found time I am entering challenges more regularly. Some old favourites that I fell away from and some new ones I have just discovered. 

This little card is for the 'In the Pink' challenge - love is in the air. I used my new 'somebunny' stamps and dies by My Favourite Things.

Running late!

 Hello. I know I said I would have my DigiStamp Boutique card to share today, well, I lied! I'm running late and it's not ready. In the meantime look at the new cuties that have just been added to the boutique, really adorable, don't you think?

Happy Mail

Hello. Last week my little order of SugarPea stamps arrived from Make the Day Special. I just can't resist these cute stamps and I fear I may need to place another order soon! This set is called 'happy mail'. I coloured with copic pens and the papers are 'stars and stripes' by Doodlebug.
