We have friends coming for dinner tonight so I have been doing a bit of the 'H' word this morning. Into all the nooks and crannies that don't normally get done! So, that's it done now and I can have a quick play and a blog before I run the brush through my hair!

A boy's card today using 'Sammy Spaceman' from TeddyBo. This is the pre-coloured version so nice and easy. The papers are 'blast off' by BoBunny. I am entering  the challenge over on Allsorts...any die will do.

Hi everyone, here is this week's Cuddly Buddly card. I have used a Karen Middleton digi stamp 'home sweet home' and coloured with copics. The papers are 'almanac' by Prima.

There are some new cuties in the DigiStamp Boutique. 'Thank You Teacher' is just one of the new sets. There's also 'Off to School' and 'Louie and Apple'. All adorable!

Now don't be thinking I have lost the plot and stamped the letters all squinty and smudgey, it was deliberate, honest. I thought it would look sort of 'schooly' but now I'm not so sure!

The papers are my current faves 'avalon' and I coloured with copics. I am entering the challenge over at Creative Inspirations...anything goes.

 

Teddy Bea and Distress Markers

Yesterday I promised to let you see my first play with my brand new distress markers, so here it is. I thought I would start with something easy - a spot of colouring. I was not disappointed, they colour a treat! Not yet had time to really see what these babies can do, but I am certainly impressed so far. 

I used TeddyBea rubber stamp 004 and the papers are 'avalon'. There's a new TB challenge 'Let's Celebrate' and all the info' is here. Oh, and there are new bears on the loose - beach bears, celebration bears and 4th July bears, all very cute.

 

A walk with the hounds!

It was  The Great British Greyhound Walk  on Sunday. Groups of greyhound owners all over the country met and walked to raise awareness of these loveable, laid back, lazy - don't need much walking at all dogs! Our local walk was held in Rouken Glen and the sun shone.There we are in the middle, behind the lady with the torquoise T-shirt.  The Greyhound Awareness League  is the place to go to find out more.

I'll be back tomorrow with something crafty using my new toys - a set of Distress Markers!

 

Happy Birthday

It's still raining! Could someone please turn the tap off? To try to make my day brighter I used the cheeriest papers I could find. They are 'avalon' by Bazzill Basics, all very gorgeous! And, of course, the image is a Teddy Bea (024) from the TeddyBo Store.

Thinking of You

It's a real dreich (a combination of dull, overcast, drizzly, cold, misty and miserable weather, at least 4 of these adjectives must apply before the weather is truly dreich - Old Scots Dictionary). Yep, it's dreich all righty!

Anyway, here is today's card. I have used 'little sweetie' a digi image available from Cuddly Buddly. I coloured with Prisma pencils. The papers are also digital and can be found here.

TeddyBo Tuesday

It's Tuesday and that would normally mean new bears from TeddyBo. But this week Mrs TB has her Fairydoodler head on and has released these gorgeous images...

For my little creation I used TeddyBea 208 and coloured with copics. I picked up the wooden heart at Hobbycraft added some flowers and job done!

Smash Book

Let me share with you my new obsession! My Smash book! A place to keep anything and everything. There are no rules, you just do what you want! Of course, there are loads of gorgeous accessories to make Smashing even more fun....

And here is my first page, my favourite movies. With space left for future favourites!

Soon all my keepsakes and treasures will find their way onto a page to be kept forever.

 And some pages will be used to record days out, words of wisdom, crafty inspiration and anything that takes my fancy! As the front of the book says...

hello friend

And hello to all my friends in blogland! I just noticed my blogoversary widget is telling me that in 4 days time I will have been blogging for 4 years. Yep, on the 19th June 2008 I made my first blog post. During that time I have made some wonderful new friends and been part of some amazing design teams. I have enjoyed every minute in blogland and it adds so much fun to what is already such an enjoyable way to while away the hours, days and indeed years!

So here is todays card. On my last trip to the local crafty shop I treated myself to these BoBunny papers and stamps. This is the first time I have bought stamps that match papers, I just couldn't resist!

I am entering the challenge over on Cute Card Thursday...punch drunk! I used scalloped border and corner rounder punches.

Good morning everyone! I am sharing my little creation fairly early today as I have 8 cards to make and instructions to write out for a magazine commission, so I need to crack on with that! But I will be round the blogs later for a nosey, promise.

TeddyBo Tuesday

It's Tuesday and that means there are new bears on the loose! New house bears, wedding bears, gift wrapped bears and bears dressed as owls!! All very cute indeed. And with these new bears comes a new challenge....

A creation that contains a gift!

I have made a bagelope (a bag made from an envelope) to contain a gift for a 'new house'. I used TeddyBoBea 132 and coloured with copics.

Sunday Showcase

Sunday has come around so fast! Back to work tomorrow, never mind it was a nice long break! This week I want to share two brand new images from the DigiStamp Boutique, Baby Rosie and Baby Dan, so cute!

Did I fall asleep and wake up in the autumn? It is supposed to be a bit brighter tomorrow, here's hoping! Anyway, here is today's creation. TeddyBo dressed as a dinosaur, perfect for little boy cards, don't you think? I coloured TeddyBo20 with copics and the papers are BoBunny 'barefoot and bliss'. The black stars have been embossed with dots but they are not showing up in my pic'!

London Tag

Woohoo, last month I won the challenge over at The Artistic Stamper, as we speak two stamp sets are winging their way to me! So, of course, I had to enter this month's challenge - red, white and blue. It would be very rude not to!

I have used stamps from the Penny Black London Collection. I trimmed down the bus and the taxi so they look like they're driving on and off the tag!

I am also entering my creation into this weeks Cupcake Challenge - tag you're it.

Best Friend

I have been caught up watching all the Jubilee celebrations more than I thought I would be. The concert last night was much better than I expected and the fireworks at the end were spectacular. The highlight for me today was the flypast. I am fascinated by aeroplanes, strange really for someone who is not a good flyer!

Good morning, I hope everyone is enjoying their Jubilee weekend so far. We had a small family get together last night and tomorrow we are meeting friends for a pub lunch and maybe a couple of shandies! So today I am taking it easy, some blogging, some crafting and a trip to the park with the hound.

Anyway, I thought I might introduce something new to my blog. I'm calling it Sunday Showcase whereby I make two or three cards to show off something. Maybe a new die, set of stamps, a technique - you get the idea. Well, for my first showcase I have chosen my three favourite TeddyBo stamps. Now I don't know if I will have time to do a showcase every week, but maybe every second week or so (best laid plans and all that!)
