This is the same style as my last card except this one did not pass quality control! Hubby doesn't like the doodled border, hmph! But I did it on the last card and that one passed, yeah, but this one is messy. I s'pose now that I see it photographed it does look a bit messy. I hate it when he's right!
I have used a Penny Black slapstick stamp 'sunshine in the rain' and coloured with watercolour pencils.
Stamp Something.....april showers See you bright and early for Penny Black Saturday.

I LOVE this and the one from yesterday Liz! I was just thinking how much I liked the border; I think it looks fine. At least your husband does get times when you think he's right - mine never does! xx
I agree 100% with Katina about the border....think it looks really fab, winder why your oh does'nt like it....anyway, your card is just brilliant, I must have ago at this type of card...wonderful.xx
Well I really like this card and the doodled border which I don't think looks messy at all. Can I ask Liz where you get these cards from, I have seen a few people using them - scalloped on one side only, that would be great. Hugs, Claire x
You are so brave stamping directly onto a card, i wish i could do that. I love this image and the sentiment - i think the doodled border looks great, it sets off the image love tasha xx
Hello, I'm Liz McGuire. I have been designing and making cards for over 10 years, serving on numerous design teams and completing assignments for various papercraft magazines.
Along with my cardmaking I like to try my hand at art journaling, memory keeping, smash books etc. And there is also my new obsession - planners and stationery! So there may be the occasional blog post on these topics.
I do have a real job but that's just to earn enough money to buy paper, stamps, pens and, of course, buttons!
Thanks for stopping by and do leave a comment and follow, if you like what you see.
