Good Morning Penny Black fans!We have another challenge for you......MilestonesWe can't wait to see what you all come up with. This weeks prize is a 15% lifetime discount voucher from PB Stamps. So, of course you know the drill by now. For more details about the challenge, for lots of inspiration from my teamies and to find out who is last weeks lucky winner visit the
Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
Tonight's card follows the sketch over on Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge.
It was also in my mind that this weeks Cupcake Challenge was bunnies. So, the perfect chance to use my poor neglected Penny Black 'bun-bun'. But alas it's not to be! I should really pay more attention. The challenge is actually to use something fluffy on your card. Now, if I wasn't such a lazy crafter and if my bath wasn't dangerously close to overflowing I would add a little pompom to his tail! Oh well, always next week!Off now for a soak with Molton Brown, see you all tomorrow for a
brand new Willow Sketchie.
This weeks challenge over on Less is More is....off centre.
I used a stamp which came free with this months Stamper magazine. Stamped it twice. Once on the card and once onto my patterned paper to do a bit of piecing. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom corner and doodled a line of dots to link it up with the card.
Good Morning Penny Black fans.
With a 'bit of a posh do' happening on Friday this weeks challenge just had to be....
Happily Ever After
So anything love inspired. Wedding, anniversary or just to tell someone you lurve them!
This weeks prize is 4 rolls of ribbon from our regular sponsor Fantastic Ribbons.
So, to find out who is last weeks lucky winner, to see more love inspired cards and to enter your own card visit the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
See you there!
I am entering my card into the fab challenge over on the Ribbon Girl which is red, white and blue.
First off I'd like to wish everyone a happy and peaceful Easter and I hope the Easter bunny is good to you!
I painted this little hedgies beret lilac and then had to go hunting for matching paper! Normally I do things the other way round. Painting to match the paper is much easier!
Anyway I found this piece of paper in my scrap box, yay! The card has been embossed through my bigshot. The hedgie stamp is from a Penny Black transparent set 'paint the town'.
I am entering my card into three challenges.....
A Spoon Full of Sugar.....lets celebrate
Simon Says Stamp....emboss it
Creative Inspirations....pets/animals
The theme at Less is More this week is acetate. OK then, here goes.
First off get the acetate back out from the back of the cupboard (I used acetate for a card the other week, wasn't too enamoured, so back into the cupboard it went). Inked up the white stazon, only the second time that's happened. Managed to find a set of peel off permanent pens in my stash so went to work colouring the back of the stamped flowers.
This was a devil to photograph but I love how this challenge is reaching crafty stash other challenges fail to reach!
This is the same style as my last card except this one did not pass quality control! Hubby doesn't like the doodled border, hmph! But I did it on the last card and that one passed, yeah, but this one is messy. I s'pose now that I see it photographed it does look a bit messy. I hate it when he's right!
I have used a Penny Black slapstick stamp 'sunshine in the rain' and coloured with watercolour pencils.
Anyhoo, it fits two challenges....
Cute Card Thursday....weather inspired
Stamp Something.....april showers
See you bright and early for Penny Black Saturday.
I think this little chap is very dapper in his blue jeans and red jumper! The stamps are by Molly Bloom, one of the best freebies with a mag in a while.
I stamped him directly onto the card blank and stamped the bunting and stars onto white card and cut out. Everything has been coloured with watercolour pencils.
This card is for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge....card for a child.
The Willow Sketchie Challenge is being re-launched.
And guess who is on the design team?
Yep, little old me! So the date to look out for is....Thursday 21st April.Every week there will be a cool sketch to follow and prizes galore! If you don't want to miss any of the excitement why not pop over
here now and become a follower?
Now that my friends wedding anniversary has passed I can pop this card on here and enter a couple of challenges.
The stamp is, of course, by Penny Black and I have coloured using water colour pencils. The papers are leftover bits from my scrap box. Ribbon and three little heart shaped pearls to finish.
I am entering my card into two challenges....
ABC challenge.....R for ribbon
A Spoon Full of Sugar.....all creatures great and small
Popping on a quick challenge card tonight. Over on Sunday Sketch and Stamp there is a fabby sketch so I couldn't resist giving James from the DigiStamp Boutique a bit of an airing!
I coloured James with Prismacolor pencils. The papers are Linen Closet by DCWV. Did a bit of embossing and punched a scalloped edge. Got the glossy accents out for the fish and James's wellies.
So there you have it. Remember that if you make a card with any of the boutique's images you can enter the competition here. There is also the monthly give-away here.
Making a card for the Less is More challenge has now become part of my Sunday morning crafty time. This weeks challenge is to make a one layer card with the sentiment as the focus.
So, first off I stamped my sentiment from a clear set by Kaisercraft with versamark ink onto my Kraft card blank. I punched out some tiny butterflies in rainbow colours. Then I rounded the corners to finish.
It's a glorious spring day here and I am off out to meet my friend for a latte and perhaps something delicious. Will pop round later to have a nosey at all the other entries.
Good Morning Penny Black fans!Saturday has rolled round again so time for another challenge using your Penny Black stamps or stickeroos. This weeks challenge is....Say it with FlowersNice and easy this week. But for lots of inspiration on how to 'say it with flowers' visit the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Whilst there you will also find out who is the winner of last weeks prize. On the subject of prizes, this week we have a $20 voucher up for grabs from one of our regular sponsors 1-2-3 Stitch. My card is fairly plain and simple this week. I watercoloured the little mouse from the transparent set 'eat cake'. I embossed the background and punched the bottom border a la Martha Stewart. Ribbon, twine and a button to finish off.
