special treasures

When I first got my big shot all you could get were the sizzix shape dies. I had some but hardly used them, so I thought my considered purchase of a big shot was a mistake, how wrong was I?

Along came nesties, embossing folders, etc and now I couldn't make a card without the big fella! But I still have those original dies I hardly use. Well, I got them out from the back of the crafty cupboard and am determined to use them. So here is a card with die cut balloons, quite effective.

The stamp is from my new Penny Black set 'a good catch' coloured with water colour pencils. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.

I am entering my card into the Papertake challenge....anything goes.

Don't crafting trends change fast with all the new crafty inventions.
I bet you are glad you revisited some of your earlier dies - your card is fab, I love the stripy balloon ties. One of the first things I got for craft making were balloon punches. I had balloons on everything!!

I agree about the Bigshot Liz; turned out to be worth its (very heavy) weight in gold! Gorgeous card as always! Now woman, will you go back to work and stop making me jealous with your mid-week card making! xxx
