Last week we had booked to go north for the weekend to a lovely little hotel we found on laterooms. Then the snows came and it wasn't to be. Luckily we had time to cancel. Never mind, we can still enjoy our Monday and Tuesday off. A trip into Glasgow and maybe a visit to Craft World in Hillington. Then on Monday morning the winter vomitting bug struck me down. I won't go into details, it's all there in the title! Vomitting aside, the snow is now about 10inches deep and still falling so I guess it's going to be a tricky journey back to work tomorrow.
Anyways, feeling a bit better now. Lunch has stayed where it should be and I managed to finish off this card.
I used this cute digi image 'Christmas George' from the DigiStamp Boutique and coloured with Promarkers and Copics. The papers are by BoBunny.
oh sorry to hear you've been poorly while on holiday from work - that wasn't very well planned!! Glad you're on the mend, nothing worse than that w v bug - yuk - your card is beautiful and thanks for entering the ribbon girl challenge, Mary x
just noticed your note about our service - glad your package arrived quickly - we've managed to get our packages to the post office but we have had no postman delivering to us since last Friday .... we thought all of our mailings out must be caught up in a huge post mountain somewhere in the snow ......Mary x
What an adorable card. Love that sketch and such a cute image! Sorry you've been sick but happy to read that you're doing better. Thanks so much for playing along at digital tuesday!
Hello, I'm Liz McGuire. I have been designing and making cards for over 10 years, serving on numerous design teams and completing assignments for various papercraft magazines.
Along with my cardmaking I like to try my hand at art journaling, memory keeping, smash books etc. And there is also my new obsession - planners and stationery! So there may be the occasional blog post on these topics.
I do have a real job but that's just to earn enough money to buy paper, stamps, pens and, of course, buttons!
Thanks for stopping by and do leave a comment and follow, if you like what you see.
