Belle from The DigiStamp Boutique

Here is a gorgeous reason to make a start on your Christmas cards! Meet Belle from The DigiStamp Boutique. I really wish you could see how much she sparkles in real life, but try as I might my camera will not pick it up.

Belle comes in a set of two images.....

...on special offer until the end of July.

cluck clock

Hello. I have another page in my dictionary to share today. It's for the alpha/dictionary challenge and this time round the letter is Y with the added extra of using the colour yellow.

I have chosen Y for year....

I've had these Ding & Dong stamps by PaperArtsy for ages and to be honest I didn't really know what to do with them. I just knew that I liked their quirkiness! So when I read the definition of year -  'unit of time marked by the revolution of the earth in its orbit round the sun' I thought this strange looking bird clock would be perfect.

Monday's News

Hello. Woohoo for my first piece of news today. My B for balloons entry made it onto the Wall of Fame. I'm so chuffed. This fortnights letter is Y with an extra twist to use yellow. My dictionary is out and my thinking cap is on. You can read all about this great challenge here.

Get Stamping 3 is now on the shelves. I made cards for this issue using Prismacolor Pencils and some really cool Chocolate Baroque stamps. There is also a bonus card and step by step instructions online here.

And finally, I treated myself to this Blueprints 3 die set. Great service from Tracy at Dies to Die For.

See you tomorrow for Papertake Weekly Challenge.

Cute Panda

Hello. There are new images just in over at The DigiStamp Boutique. Really useful if you are short on time and need a card in a hurry! Just a lttle bit of shading and a tiny bit of colour and job done. I made a little tag to match my card...

The Panda set is on special offer throughout July - go nab yourself a bargain!

happy birthday

Hello. Isn't this weather fab? Although I have to admit that yesterday was a bit too warm for me and I was wilting a little! Today is a good bit fresher, but I hear the heat is to return tomorrow - really shouldn't complain!

I have a bright summery card to share today. The image is from Jellypark and I coloured with Prisma Pencils. I am entering the Jellypark Challenge - summer.

thank you

Monday's News

Hello. A little bit later than usual - soaking up some of this glorious sunshine! I've been away a few days to our regular cottage in Cumbria. We love it there, so does the dog - he gets spoiled rotten and gets given a sausage/toast/scone in every tea room! Just before my little holiday I found this book in Waterstones, perfect to take away with me. If you love doodling and colouring I can highly recommend it!

The latest issue of Creative Cardmaking is on the shelves. I have an article on watercolouring using Penny Black stamps and pencils. So if you are after a great crafty read why not treat yourself?

See you tomorrow, it's Papertake Weekly Challenge time!

Don't forget that there are freebies to be won if you enter the Boutique's customer competition. All the info' you need is here.

Monday's News

Here is what winged it's way into the crafty room this week. Sn@p - the simple version of scrapbooking! Great choice and brilliant service from Angel Crafts (thanks for the little free gift).

I would love to have time to do full on scrapbooking but I don't. So this is the answer. The binder has plastic wallets divided into different sizes and you simply slot in your photograph (or whatever) and choose some of the pre-printed journalling cards etc for the other slots.

I have already printed off some snaps which don't deserve to just live in the computer! Can't wait to get started.
