celebrate with Cupcake Belle

Hello. Today I have my DigiStamp Boutique card to share. The adorable Belle takes centre stage along with a yummy looking cupcake. I found the perfect papers in my stash - 'Double the Fun' by taylored expressions. I used prismacolour pencils to colour and all the background pieces were cut using MFT Blueprints 18 dies.

I have some exciting (and also a bit scary) crafty news, all will be revealed very soon!

Holiday High Five

Hello. This month my pocket money was spent on more of 'My Favourite Things'. This stamp set is 'Christmas Cuteness' and I bought the matching dies - I'm becoming a very lazy crafter! The 'hill' was die cut using Stitched Borders from Paper Smooches. A little bit of copic colouring and job done.

Right, short and sweet tonight - I have a friend from work, who wants to start making cards, coming round to play so I'm off to put the kettle on and hide the good papers!!

a time for giving

Hello. Autumn has well and truly arrived, we've had four seasons in one day today - rain, wind, blue skies and even a little bit of thunder! Anyway all my magazine commissions are 'in the bag' so I had a little crafty me time.

There are so many different projects and techniques on my to do list - get my gelli plate back out, make a start on my art doodle book, have another go at the inky arty stuff with all those stencils I had to have! But, I decided I didn't have that much time! So I coloured up this little Sugar Nellie cutie and made a simple card, leaving the experimental stuff to another day!

Once again I used shades of the one colour, I'm liking this look at the mo' and saves me hurting my brain trying to work out colour combinations!!
