The Next Level

is a brand new challenge blog that launches on 1st June. There is super candy on offer so get yourself over there now! Just one click from the link on my sidebar will whisk you right there.

Penny Black and Sketch Saturday

Any challenge that even hints at using buttons and I'm in! Well, over on Penny Black this week it's 'Buttons Galore' so out came the buttons and I gazed at them for a bit and came up with this.

It also follows the great sketch on Sketch Saturday.

The papers are 'Spring Burst' by papermania.

Space for Two!

Maybe it's 'cos we went to see Star Trek or maybe it's these irresistible digi images from the Digi Stamp Boutique but I am on a bit of roll with the space theme at the moment.

This fits the great sketch by Heidi on Friday Sketchers and the challenge on dareU2digistamp is 'one for the boys'.

The paper is 'masculine' by Dovecraft.

Lili of the Valley

The next of my afternoons makes is for another challenge blog I love but rarely can find the time. The sketch by Jo was just too good to miss and one I am sure I will use again. The paper is 'Boutique' by Papermania and I have used my third last LOTV die cut fairy (note to self.........must buy more).

More than a Whiff of Joy on the Bank Holiday.

It's been a while since I have had time to do this challenge but I have put my May holiday to good use and have been very very busy. This follows the fab sketch by Heather.
I got the water colour pencils out for this beautiful image from Whiff of Joy. The jury is still out on which I prefer......Copic pens or watercolour pencils........think I love 'em both in their own way! Papers are 'flower patch' by makingmemories.

One into Three Does Go!

And here is the card to prove it.........

Simon Says.........One for the Boys.

Charisma.........A Star is Born.

Just Christmas and Birthday.........Super Duper Sketch.

I used the fab space images from Digi Stamp Boutique and coloured with Copic pens. The paper is by SEI 'Kaboom' Stars and Stripes. I added a touch of glitter to the stars with Stickles and used glossy accents on the 'portholes' (are they called portholes or just windows, well I s'pose it is a space ship so portholes would be right, OK I'm going to stop now).

Copic Colour Challenge #13

There is a great sketch to follow this week and I had lots of fun playing around with it.

This is the first time I have used this little set of stamps and indeed the first orientally type card I have done! But there is no makers name on the packet to let you know where I got them and I've had it a while (since the last craft show) so haven't a hope of remembering.

Here are the colours I have used and the papers are Dill Blossom by SEI.

Sketch Saturday # 50

Great sketch to follow and I have used one of my fave Cuddly Buddly stamps. Nothing much else to say about this one oh, except DH's comment- 'twee'. Hmph!

Penny Black # 48

Black, white and one other colour is this weeks challenge. My one other colour is pink but I hope I can be forgiven for having green foliage (cos pink leaves just wouldn't look right).

Digi Stamp Boutique First Competition

Cooo........eeee. I'm back!

And a bit rusty.........took me ages to put this together. Nothing to do with the fab images from The Digi Stamp Boutique.......it's just that sometimes it just doesn't happen!

Anyways this is being entered into the Digi Stamp Boutiques monthly comp'. All you have to do is use an image from the offer of the month which this month is the sweet 'Love Birds' collection.

There is a prize too.........you will win next months offer. Hope I'm lucky!
