Mini Memory Tag Book

Hello. I have a little memory book to share today. I think I have mentioned before that I have a large box of old black and white pictures. I have sorted through them and have been left with a bundle of  'unknowns'. Now, they will be family, but unfortunately they are not familiar to me. I cannot bring my self to throw them out so I have made a little 'tag' book for them.

The cover is a cardboard box cut down and covered with papers from my Prima Butterfly Bliss pad. The girl on the front is a stamp from the  Prima Julie Nutting Clarissa Doll set and I paper pieced her gorgeous hair! I add some ephemera bits also from the Butterfly Bliss collection.

The tags have all been made using papers and ephemera from Butterfly Bliss. I punched a hole and used a book ring to attach the tags to the 'book'. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out and there's plenty room for more tags to be added over time.

The Prima Butterfly Bliss Collection is available over at Paper, Pen and Plan.

best wishes

Hello. I'm back on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today. My card is quite spring-like, wishful thinking given the weather we are currently having here in Scotland! I used the Butterfly Wreath stamp set by Reverse Confetti (matching die is here). I stamped onto watercolour card and used my watercolour pencils to colour. I have kept the background plain to show off the gorgeous stamped wreath.

you are so nice

Hello. I'm back with another card featuring a Penny Black stamp. This one is called 'hello dear' and I have coloured using my watercolour pencils. I have also gone a bit 'retro' trying to use up some very, very old stash! I used some paper flowers (from a time before I had a big shot and punches) and some dew drops. I'm pretty pleased with how the 'old' bits look, you'll probably being seeing more of them!

I am entering the challenge over at Allsorts....make it girly.

love you sweet heart

Hello, it's Valentines week and I have my special M&S meal in the fridge ready for Friday! Not going out means I get to keep my comfies on!! My card features bunnies from the Waffle Flower set 'love you bunnies'. The background is the 'stitched scallops cover panel die' by Reverse Confetti.

The background scallops reminded me of the scalloped edges I used to put on nearly every card I made! So I got my box of punches out from the back of the cupboard and punched out a panel in white and black cardstock. Maybe it'll start a trend for using punches again!

Hi There

Hello. I was at my monthly craft club last Saturday. I joined in with a demo' in the first half (pictures will be shared soon) . And in the second half I coloured up some of my favourite Penny Black stamps using my Inktense watercolour pencils. Today I made them into super quick and easy cards. The card above is 'from me to you' and the one below is 'team effort'. The sentiments are from the 'Heap of Hellos' set by My Favourite Things.

I am entering two challenges....

Penny Black and More....animals, birds and butterflies
Creative Inspirations...anything goes
