Lucy says Happy Birthday
So, meet Lucy one of this month's new images from the DigiStamp Boutique. In fact, the Lucy collection is on special offer throughout April.
I coloured Lucy with copics and promarkers. The spotty paper is from my scrap box. The sentiment is from craftwork cards and I have finished off with little dotted buttons in the flower centres.
I am entering my card into the Allsorts challenge.....blooming blossoms.
Whilst I'm here I want to show you this.......

toot!
I coloured my images with watercolour pencils and did a bit of embossing along the middle strip. The black scallop bit is actually felt, doesn't show up too well in the photo. And finished off with my little letter stamps, I can't believe they languished at the back of the crafty cupboard for years, now it seems I can hardly make a card without them!
My card is for two challenges.....
Creative Inspirations......cards for men
Truly Scrumptious......a fabby sketch

just wanted to say....
A few weeks ago I won $50 to spend at Simon Says Stamp after winning their challenge. I ordered some stamps and this groovy 'rolled flower' die-namic. This is my first attempt and I am fairly pleased with how my three little rolled flowers turned out.

hello
This week our challenge to you is.....
Recycle
For my card I used brown paper packaging and some string (there's a song there somewhere). Teamed it up with a super cute Penny Black stamp 'garden visit' which I watercoloured. Finished off with stitching, buttons and a stamped out hello.
So, for all the info on this weeks prize, last weeks winner and some fabulous recycled inspiration from my teamies visit the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

sunny days
The minute I saw the challenge included yellow I thought of this Penny Black stamp 'sunny days'. The papers are from the springtime range by Echo Park. The must have bakers twine is, of course, from The Ribbon Girl.
The change in the weather and making bright sunny cards really lifts your spirits (or is that down to the cup of tea with the four finger kitkat).
