Christmas Gift Box

I fancied trying something a little different and found this tutorial. I stamped the snowflake with white ink all over the blue card. Then I printed off Francis from the DigiStamp Boutique twice. One for the front of the box and a little one for the matching tag, that's the beauty of digi stamps, resizing!

I am entering my creation into three challenges....

Creative Card Crew....not another card

ABC Challenge....I...ice and snow

Creative Inspirations....no cards

And, as it's the first of the month, there are some new images in stock over in the DigiStamp Boutique. Meet Beau here.

warm wishes

Last week we had booked to go north for the weekend to a lovely little hotel we found on laterooms. Then the snows came and it wasn't to be. Luckily we had time to cancel. Never mind, we can still enjoy our Monday and Tuesday off. A trip into Glasgow and maybe a visit to Craft World in Hillington. Then on Monday morning the winter vomitting bug struck me down. I won't go into details, it's all there in the title! Vomitting aside, the snow is now about 10inches deep and still falling so I guess it's going to be a tricky journey back to work tomorrow.

Anyways, feeling a bit better now. Lunch has stayed where it should be and I managed to finish off this card.

I used this cute digi image 'Christmas George' from the DigiStamp Boutique and coloured with Promarkers and Copics. The papers are by BoBunny.

I am entering George into two challenges....

Digital Tuesday....animals at Christmas time

Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge.....lilac, pink and white

And I must mention the great service from the Ribbon Girl. I placed my order at the weekend and it arrived this morning, even through all that snow!

with love at Christmas

I adore this latest nativity set from the DigiStamp Boutique. So cute and so easy to colour. This time for my colouring I used a mix of copics and promarkers. I had printed the image on to super smooth card so the pens work really well.

The papers are from the 'Let it Snow' 8x8 pad by Dovecraft teamed with teal glitter card. I didn't have card candy to match so I coloured some cream ones with my copics, good trick!

The twine is from the Ribbon Girl and the sentiment from Craftwork cards. I am entering my card into these challenges.....

The ABC Challenge.....H for holidays

Don't this pair just look too cute?
Perfect for an anniversary, valentine or just to say 'I love you'.

They are Valentine Henry and Valentine Zoe from the DigiStamp Boutique. The papers are from Doodlebug and I coloured with Promarkers/Copics.

I have left off a sentiment 'cos I think the look on their faces says it all!

My Light Box

First off you have to nab an empty box from work, there will be plenty of these kicking about, usually beside the printers. If not, I'm sure your local supermarket will oblige.
Cut out the two sides and top leaving a frame.

You are now supposed to cover the cut out bits with muslin. I used one of hubby's white shirts. Luckily he is going through his blue period.

Cover the back and the bottom with white paper. Shine a lamp from above into the box and you are now good to go.

Let me know how you get on.
