Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 10 'Animal Magic'

'Your card should include an animal somewhere in the design' was this weeks challenge on A Spoon Full of Sugar. So it was an ideal opportunity to use my brand new Sugar Nellie stamp 'Kitty'.

Goodies I used - paper by BoBunny 'Wasabi Dot', 'Kitty' stamp, Swiss dots embossing folder, circle nestie, ribbon and buttons.

Friday Sketchers #12

Here is the card for this weeks challenge on Friday Sketchers. I turned the sketch on it's side for this one and I am quite pleased with the way it has turned out.

Goodies I used - stamp Charley on Tummy by Cuddly Buddly, gingham paper, card embossed by CB embossing folders, ribbon, flower and button.

Penny Black Saturday #7 Down on the Farm

Moooving (see what I did there) on to this weeks challenge from the lovely ladies over on PBS.

Goodies I used - PB Stamp 'Ladies Devine', gingham paper, ribbon, mulberry flowers and the cutest little buttons you ever did see.

And here's why.

You set your card up, you line up your shot and then a gust of wind lifts your card over the fence and into the park that backs on to us. I don't know who got the bigger fright me or the gentleman with the little white Westie.

And before you ask why I had my PJs on it was unusually hot today and when I got home from work they were the coolest things I had. This is the shot of seconds before the action.

This Thursday It's All About... 'The Golden Rule'

So this is what happens when you are far too impatient to read the challenge properly and you just want to get started. The challenge was -

'Our challenge this week is inspired by a quote from the father of the Arts and crafts movement William Morris, who said “If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
Now don’t worry we’re not asking you to get rid of your clutter or tidy up, or wonder where you are going to stick your Husband ( only joking) , although you can if you want.
Our CHALLENGE is attempt to create something you truly believe is either beautiful or useful. If like the design team you find that something didn't quite hit the mark, we still want to see it. It's about the journey not the destination.'

Oops, I thoght I had to interpret a 'Golden Rule' anyhoo I don't know about it being beautiful but it is useful!

Flowers! That's what I chose for the great challenge on Cute Card Thursday.
