cluck clock


Hello. I have another page in my dictionary to share today. It's for the alpha/dictionary challenge and this time round the letter is Y with the added extra of using the colour yellow.

I have chosen Y for year....
I've had these Ding & Dong stamps by PaperArtsy for ages and to be honest I didn't really know what to do with them. I just knew that I liked their quirkiness! So when I read the definition of year -  'unit of time marked by the revolution of the earth in its orbit round the sun' I thought this strange looking bird clock would be perfect.

    Very fun page and cool way to depict year. I could be smitten with that bird too and then have trouble deciding how to use, but as you have shown given enough time we do get to use our naughty stash of treasures.

    I love your dictionary page!! Wonderful creation! I am afraid that a fractured hip has me down and out for the rest of the Alpha Challenge and I was having so much fun. I don't think I could have come up with such a good yellow image!!
