Have you tried this technique before? I call it the 'out of nestie experience' but I'm sure it will have a proper crafty name and I'm also sure someone will leave me a comment to tell me what it is!
Anyway, if you don't have a nestie/die big enough or the right shape to cut out your image and you don't fancy doing the fussy cutting thing all the way round 'cos you just know there are bits there that you are bound to accidentally snip off, then try this. Fussy cut a bit of the image, in this case the flower. Then pop it through your die cutting machine to cut the rest. The secret is to make sure the bit that you have cut out is not going to be cut through with the die!

This is so cute and I know this technique as "off the edge" but I am probably wrong and much prefer your name LOL! Lovely sunny colours and papers. Have a lovely day. Hugs, Claire x
ReplyDeleteI love this technique but have been too scared to give it a go - especially after I have spent ages colouring an image!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely have o go it a go now though!

Beautiful Card. The Teddy with Gerbera image is cute and I like the way the flower is laying out of the image. The papers are pretty and the sentiment is nice.
