I wish there were more summer days like today. Not a cloud in the sky so we took ourselves off out for a picnic courtesy of M&S! We didn't fancy too long a drive so about 20 minutes took us to Pollok Park. Picnic scoffed and Sunday papers read we then strolled around the gardens of Pollok House and then along the river bank. I had a lovely Sunday.
So my card tonight is a little different. I found these pre-printed images called 'storybook pages' in my local craft shop ages ago and finally got round to using one. The seam binding and vintage buttons are from Sew Sweet.
I am entering my card into the challenge over on Stamp Something 'embellished' . I have used my all time favourite embellies....buttons!
Liz just love your card...it has that vintage look...brilliant.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Liz. We have just done the same thing today. Taken the car for a 1/2 drive away and spent the day at a wild life park and then strolled down by the river. It's been a lovely restful day. Wish there were more like it.
