hello friend

This is the same style as my last card except this one did not pass quality control! Hubby doesn't like the doodled border, hmph! But I did it on the last card and that one passed, yeah, but this one is messy. I s'pose now that I see it photographed it does look a bit messy. I hate it when he's right!

I have used a Penny Black slapstick stamp 'sunshine in the rain' and coloured with watercolour pencils.

Anyhoo, it fits two challenges....

    I LOVE this and the one from yesterday Liz! I was just thinking how much I liked the border; I think it looks fine. At least your husband does get times when you think he's right - mine never does! xx

    Well I really like this card and the doodled border which I don't think looks messy at all. Can I ask Liz where you get these cards from, I have seen a few people using them - scalloped on one side only, that would be great. Hugs, Claire x

    You are so brave stamping directly onto a card, i wish i could do that. I love this image and the sentiment - i think the doodled border looks great, it sets off the image
