Delightful Daisies

My second card tonight is for two challenges -

Charisma Cardz.....delightful daisies
Allsorts..... furry friends

I punched out the daisies and added a bit of colour with grey copics pens. I'm pleased with the way they turned out. I cut the circle out on the front of the card with a nestie and put the image on the inside, I think it's quite effective. Yes, I have to admit I like this one!
The image is by Penny Black and I coloured with water colour pencils. The sentiment is from PinkPetticoat.

I have only had the Martha Stewart daisy border punch a couple of weeks. When I got it home I couldn't wait to get punching and it stuck fast at the first go. Two broken nails later I managed to free it up but then I was very wary of using it, but it seems fine as long as the card isn't too thick. What does everyone else think of them? I know they are very popular.

  2. Hi Liz

    What a great card.

Love your little mice and all the daisies!!

I too sometimes struggle with MS punches jamming (but not enough to stop me using them and wanting more) - then again most of my punches jam whoever makes them!!

Thank you for joining in the fun at Allsorts this week.

    Love Jules xx

  3. Hi Liz,

Gorgeous card and I love the way the image is on the inside - very effective.
Sorry don't have any MS stuff though this punch looks great. have you tried cutting silver foil with it - might make it a bit easier to work with?

  4. Hi Liz, Gorgeous card! Love the daisies and such a sweet image.

I often have trouble with my MS punches as I like to use card. If using paper/thin card they are fine. I find Fiskars jam less but I still love MS.

Thanks for joining us at Allsorts.
