wonderful world

Hello. I've been having a play with my new Polkadoodles clear stamps. I decided on a black and white colour scheme to fit with the 'chalkboard' stamp. The butterflies are from the 'special times' stamp set. The background paper is 'zip-a-dee-doodle' by BoBunny. A nice easy make - no colouring just stamping and cutting!

merry little christmas

the old owl

Hello. Following on from my March Hare post I have had another play in my Prima passport size  TN. My watercolour insert is full so I have moved onto the mixed media insert. I still used my Daniel Smith watercolours though! And a sprinkle of Brushos. The stamp is Midnight Owl by Woodware.

The Daniel Smith watercolours and the passport notebooks are all in stock at Paper, Pen and Plan. Quote LIZ10 for 10% off!

Happy Birthday

Hello. Today I'm delighted to be sharing a card as a guest designer for the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge. I can't believe how up to a few weeks ago (thanks to Yvonne at the Copic Colouring day) I hadn't heard of Polkadoodles and now my collection is growing fast!

I have used the following digital elements from the Polkadoodle online store -
Winnie Wonderland Tweedledum
Winnie Celebrations 1 Sentiments
Winnie Celebrations 1  Papers 2

I coloured using my Copic marker pens but paper pieced Tweedledums t-shirt and shorts to co-ordinate with the background papers.

The challenge is 'anything goes' so that's nice and easy isn't it?
Why not have a go, all the info' is here.

Foxy gift set

Hello. Today I'm sharing a little set - a milk carton gift box and a notelet.
The cute fox stamp is from the Mama Makes Store here
I stamped, coloured with Zig marker pens and trimmed around the little foxes. This means I could attach them using 3D foam pads to make them 'pop'!

and though she be little....

Hello. Today I'm sharing another card featuring a Polkadoodles digi stamp. She is 'jump for joy' and you can find her here. The sentiment is from a Mama Elephant set called 'everyday greetings'. I coloured her using my Copic marker pens, trying to improve on my colouring hair skills, not entirely happy with how it turned out but practice makes perfect!

Pop back tomorrow, I have another box set magazine to give away!

Memories....

I have a huge box of family photographs. Going right back to my great grandparents time. Some people in the photographs I know and others I haven't a clue who they are! Well, I have decided that now is the time to deal with this. I have bought a black and white Simple Stories album and some of the Zella Teal collection. I am going to chip away at this over the next year. I was thinking I would only document the photograph if I know who they are and also ones that I remember from my parents albums, ones that mean something to me.

I'm not then sure what to do with the leftovers. No point in them lying about, and no-one else in the family wants them. Can I bring myself to throw them out? Has anyone documented old photographs, do you have any tips or advice? I'd love to know before I make a start.

Album and Zella Teal Collection available in PP&P Etsy here.

happy birthday

Hello. I've been having a play with my new stamps. This one is 'puddle jumper' by My Favourite Things. I coloured the stamp using Inktense watercolour pencils. Remember if you are using watercolour you need to stamp with a water resistant ink pad, I use Versafine. The papers are 'refreshed' by Authentique.

I am entering my card into the Allsorts Challenge...Spring Flowers or Showers.
