This weeks haul

Hello. Last week, stamps and dies. This week, two paper pads, stickers and die cuts. The stickers and die cuts will be used in my planner/smash books/journals. I am determined to get back into them and this new haul will go a long way to helping!

On the subject of paper pads. I have quite a collection of 6x6 pads. Some have only a few sheets left. Some are practically antiques! However, I cannot bring myself to have a clear out - you never know when you might need that exact paper! But, what I was thinking of doing, is taking the sheets out and making one big pile. But then I wouldn't be able to tell people what the paper is called - does that matter? You probably can't get some of it anymore anyway. What do you do?

Hello. I'm so enjoying having a good old play with my Penny Black stamps. They really are just the best to watercolour. This one is 'garden treats' and the papers are Home Sweet Home by Craft Asylum.

Well, it has been thoroughly miserable here, heavy rain all day. But every cloud and all that 'cos I managed to get five cards in the bag for my latest magazine commission. Tonight I will type up the step by steps, that's if the wee glass of red I have with my dinner doesn't make me feel a bit squiffy!

Hello. A pre-embossed card base, a quick to watercolour set of stamps and a die cut. Super quick and super easy! I am entering my card into the Penny Black and More challenge - anything goes with a stamp.

Small haul.....

Hello. The Crazy Dogs set! I already have the Crazy Birds and use them a lot so seeing as we have a crazy dog it's only right that I should have these too. Two Lil'inker dies, a background die and a set of words - enjoy, hello and thanks. And finally a Visible Image stamp, don't quite know yet what I'll do with it but I couldn't resist it's sentiment.

I don't often post my hauls but I love to have a nosey at what other peeps buy so I thought you might like to see mine!

On this day.....

 ......eight years ago I blogged this card! Pre Sony digital camera, pre editing/cropping with Picasa, pre watermark, pre lightbox (outside on the old picnic table) - simpler times!!  I still have my Snowy stamp and it's still one of my favourites. Not too sure about that thin random ribbon - what was I thinking!!

Hello. A happy hello! It's good to be back, and all I'm saying is 'new windows'!! Yay, big job done. That just leaves one more major job. The garage clearout. It's been done before and I can do it again - but I need to work up to that one.

Anyway, onto tonights wee card. The background is a script stencil and the stamps are Persian Motifs by Altenew. I used Inktense pencils to colour.

Hello. New stamp set! It's mermazing from Neat&Tangled! Very cute. I coloured using Copic marker pens and the papers are 'meadow sweet' by Craft Assylum.

Hello. I've been having another wee play with my Penny Black set 'man's best friend'. The papers are 'little moments' by Elle's Studio. And I'm going to do something I haven't done for a looooooong time - enter a challenge!! Penny Black and More - anything goes.

Hello. I took part in another pocket letter swap. The theme this time was 'mixed media' and this is the letter I sent my partner. I threw everything at this! Too many stencils, inks and stamps to list. But, if you want to know the name of something specific give me a shout in the comments!

Hello.This is another stamp from my new Penny Black set I was talking about last week. The background is 'modern mosaic'. A large My Favourite Things stamp that I have watercoloured. Love that pup!

Hello. I got a new Penny Black stamp set. It's called 'Man's Best Friend' and I love it! All the stamps are sooooo cute and make me smile every time. For the background I stencilled a heart and added some twine. I stamped the image onto watercolour paper, used watercolour pencils to colour and carefully trimmed around. The sentiment is by My Favourite Things from the 'brushstroke birthday' set.

Rightyho, I'm off out to cast my vote!
