I s'pose you could say I'm going through my 'brown period'! Although this one is mostly white. But how cute is this little bear couple?
Not much else to say about this one tonight, it's pretty self explanatory.
I am entering two challenges....
Teddybo....black, white and one other colour
CAS-ual Fridays....embossing
I can't believe it's back to using the light box already. I really do prefer to take my pics outside but by the time I get home from work and make my card it's far too dull, and it's still only August!
Anyway this creation is for two challenges....
Lili of the Valley....thank you
Stamp Something.....to say thank you
The sentiments and paper are from Craftwork Cards, the image is Lili of the Valley and the cool ribbon is from Sew Sweet.
Good morning Penny Black fans.
We had loads of fabby touchy feely cards. Pop over to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, you might be the winner of last weeks cool prize.
This week we have set you the challenge of....
Shabby Chic
I used a PB Stickeroo, with seam binding and buttons from
Sew Sweet.
And here is this weeks prize. This gorgeous PB wood mounted stamp 'love nip'. Provided by Carole, best friend of the PB Saturday Challenge.
I would like to share with you the card that has nearly made me hang up my pokey tool! Version one of this card was started last night....stitching disaster. Version two shortly after that....a second stitching disaster - has my 30 year old machine finally given up on me? In between I did practice on a piece of scrap and it was fine.
So tonight I was determined. With the stitching done I picked up my image to attach to the card and....tomato soup! Don't ask. Anyway this time all was not lost, a carefully placed sentiment saved the day.
The image is a Teddy BoBea and I coloured with promarkers/copics. The papers are 'bubblegum hills' by Kaisercraft and the gorgeous felt that I used to make the flowers is from Sew Sweet.
I am entering three challenges....
TeddyBo....love is in the air
Cupcake....a fabby sketch
A Spoon Full of Sugar...happy birthday
Well I'm back from spending a week in the middle of the North Pennines during what turned out to be the wettest week of the year!
It's just as well the cottage is like a home from home! I take some stamps and do some colouring but there is no internet connection whatsoever so I am looking forward to catching up with you all and your crafty makes. Oh, and a big wave hello to my new followers. I'm always chuffed to bits when I see the numbers grow.
So to get me back in the swing of things, and before I launch myself into my next magazine commission, I thought I would do a card for this weeks Less is More challenge 'use ink'.
I have used four inks. Two distress inks, tattered rose and bundled sage, for the script background spritzed with a little water. The dandelion clock was stamped with rich cocoa Memento ink and the little spindly things were onyx black Versafine.
The sentiment was also stamped with rich cocoa but stamped first on a piece of scrap. The script stamp is by Kaisercraft and all others are Marion Emberson Designs.
Good morning Penny Black fans!
Last weeks 'anything goes' attracted lots of gorgeous entries. Check out the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and find out if you are one of our lucky winners.
This weeks challenge is....
Touchy Feely
Interpret that any way you feel!
I have used some felt from Sew Sweet to make my leaves and flowers and some sticky fuzzy stuff that comes in a roll. I've had it kicking about for years so glad that's it used up!
So for fabulous inspiration and to find out all the gen on how to enter visit
The Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
It's been ages since I used one of these adorable Lili of the Valley images. Although I have to come clean and tell you this is a pre-coloured one. Sometimes you just want to make something quick and easy and these certainly fit the bill for that!
My card tonight features TeddyBea, looking very summery in her pink and green outfit. I'm glad she chose that outfit 'cos it matches my BoBunny papers perfectly!
I coloured Bea with copics and the stickers and letters are from a matching BoBunny sticker sheet. Nice and easy tonight.
So there are two challenges to enter....
Papertake....anything goes
Stampalot....whatever you fancy
