....just popping on a quick make in case you think the wardrobe has fallen on top of me! Crafting and blogging has taken a bit of a back seat. Preparing for new kitchen which at last is to be fitted at the beginning of next week and an elderly mother who decides to get the painters in!

Here is this weeks Less is More entry. The challenge is 'in the frame' whilst keeping your card to one layer. Quite a challenge!

I have used a long forgotten embossing folder to provide my frame. A sweet little Penny Black stamp for my image which I watercoloured.

So, here we are at another Saturday morning. That means it's time for another Penny Black challenge and this week it is .....

One for the Guys

The prize this week is this super cute Penny Black wood mounted stamp
'Love Nip'. Kindly donated by a special friend of the Penny Black Challenge Carole.

For my card I used a PB stamp 'hedgehopper' coloured with watercolour pencils, papers by MME 'fly a kite' and gorgeous ribbon from the ribbon girl.
You'll be seeing a lot of that ribbon I think I bought a metre in every colour!

Tonights creation is for this weeks Papertake Challenge 'anything goes'. I have watercoloured these two little playful hedgies by Penny Black. Mounted onto black card and finished with a Hero Arts sentiment.

Dashing off to the airport now to pick hubby up. May just have to stop at the crafty shop on the way!

Each week the gals over on the Cupcake Craft Challenge choose their cuties. Last week they liked this card so much they have made me a cutie! I will wear my badge with pride.

I'm afraid I haven't been very productive so far this week, feel a bit out of sorts. I have three cards on my desk all half done and not coming together at all. Never mind, think I will stop trying for tonight and go for a nosey round the blogs instead.

Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with something new from the DigiStamp Boutique. In the meantime check out the Cupcake Challenge and you could be a cutie too!

This weeks challenge on Less is More is 'monochrome', shades of one colour. The colour I have chosen is victorian velvet distress ink.

First off I stamped and heat embossed my Kaisercraft script stamp onto water colour paper. Then I spritz inked it with the victoian velvet. Then I overstamped the Inkadinkado flower stem. I then stamped a second flower stem, coloured the blooms and cut them out. Added a sentiment, job done.

teddy bo and the ladybird

Told you I was in love! Here is another Teddy Bo. This time all dressed up with his ladybird wings on. How cute is he?

I think he is cute enough to be entered into the Teddy Bo Challenge....shaped cards.

My card tonight features my favourite robot, Robbo, from the DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured with promarkers and the papers are by BoBunny. The little shiny dots are from Paperchase.

I googled 'what would a robot say' and apparently he would say clank.. clunk.. whir.. chirp. Of course, why didn't I know that!

This is my final make for my design team duties at Simply Create. I had a blast each month eagerly awaiting the postman to deliver my 'pizza box'! So a big thank you from me to the team at Simply Create, you are such a talented bunch.

The papers are from the neighbourhood collection by Crate Papers. The stamp is little fancy bird from hero arts. I made the flower by running the netting through my bigshot with the tattered florals die by Tim Holtz, held together with a big glitzy brad.
