Kids have a brilliant imagaination, and make some amazing pictures/ collages out of our snippets. I have 3 boxes....a huge toy box of big bits, an A4 box of small to medium and an A5 of teeny tiny bits!.....and I never seem to think to look in them! So I guess it takes a while to fine what you are looking for.
I'm perhaps a bit OCD but I have my scraps / snippets in colour coded sections with the mini bits and strips in a little wallet for each colour! It's a pain 'filing' them away but much easier to find. I guess you've got to weigh up what's worthwhile.
Sarah xxSazzle Dazzlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12203307663018866763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8574099977764357430.post-75849245403680009412015-01-13T08:28:28.714+00:002015-01-13T08:28:28.714+00:00Oooh errrr... I think it's time to spring clean and get rid of the tiny bits I'll never use!

Christine xChristine Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06404909342069169357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8574099977764357430.post-50605445908937000112015-01-13T07:32:38.246+00:002015-01-13T07:32:38.246+00:00Now I am almost ashamed to tell you about my bits....Now I am almost ashamed to tell you about my bits. They started of in one drawer then took over another. I then bought two magazine racks which later became three - one is completely full of scraps and they are now falling over into the other two! I do use them for bits for die cutting but I need to be more diligent in using them up! Just like Leonardo da Vinci: never throw paper because it´s to valuable.
I use them for paper piecing, paper mache, decorate envelopes with them and collect tiny pieces to make new paper from them one day. There are many great tutorials on YouTube how to make recycled paper. :-D Milkahttp://craftymilka.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
