Hello. Following on from my 111 Places - part 1 blog post here is part 2.
Number 18 in the book - the Budd Neill Memorial. The world's only two-legged equestrian statue.

I am really enjoying this way of memory keeping, made all the more enjoyable by this gorgeous travellers notebook cover.....

I'll be back with more entries soon!

Enjoy the Sweater Weather!

Hello. I don't know what the weather is like in your part of the world but here in the west of Scotland it is definately sweater weather! A north wind and some places have snow, brrrrr.

My two cards both feature stamps from the Sweater Weather set by Waffle Flower. I coloured the sweaters using my Zig Real Brush markers. The one above has a little strip of my new washi tape and doesn't it match perfectly?

The leaves on the paper below were just plain but I coloured some of them to match the sweater. I also inked the edges of the wooden leaves.

I am entering the challenge over at Penny Black and More...Autumn Splendour.

111 Places - part 1

Hello. Glasgow is my home city, but if you are anything like me you take all the local sights for granted. Not any more! I spotted this book and decided that it would be really interesting to work through all 111 places, after all - they shouldn't be missed.

And, it's a great reason to use this gorgeous Travellers Notebook with papers, ephemera, stickers and washi tape from the Twilight range by One Canoe Two......

First step is to set free my pictures from my phone! Nothing fancy, just brightened them up a little using Picasa and then printed on cheap copy paper.....

Next up is the fun part! The inserts that come with the Travellers Notebook are plain kraft. But I want to be fancier than that. I chose two co-ordinating papers and covered the outside of the notebook. Then I added some stickers and ephemera....

And here is my first entry. Number 54 in the book Homeless Jesus....

So far I have ticked off about five of the places listed in the book. Plenty to keep me going until we venture out to find more! I'll share those pages some time soon!

fa-la-la-la-la

Hello. I'm well and truly in Christmas mode now! This is a Penny Black wood mounted stamp called 'warm and merry'. I stamped using a Versafine ink pad, watercoloured and carefully fussycut the cute carolling mice. I 'grounded' them on the card with white glitter but unfortunately my photography skills have let me down and it's hardly visible.

I am entering the Allsorts Challenge....Christmas

While I was on the Hobonichi website ordering next years planner this cover accidently slipped into my basket! The outside is a gorgeous blue and my clear cover on cover is patterned. I love it, and the orange on the inside is perfect for this time of year. You will see the outside of the cover during my one minute flip through video here.

The super cute charms, pen, washi and letter stickers are all from this months Sweet Treat Box. And the Autumn themed stickers are in the Paper, Pen and Plan Etsy shop here. Quote LIZ10 for 10% off!

Too Stinkin' Cute

Hello. Today I'm sharing my make for the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge.
My card features the following digital printables -
As well as my card I made a little 'whatnot' for display during Autumn. I enlarged the digi image of the apple barrel, carefully cut it out and stuck a piece of scrap card to the back as a stand. Really easy to do and looks pretty good on the crafty desk!
The challenge is 'anything goes' so that's nice and easy isn't it?
Why not have a go, all the info' is here.

I am also entering the following challenges -
