Craft Carousel Makeover

Hello. I've given my desk a bit of a makeover. I saw the stoarage boxes in TKMaxx and couldn't resist. Of course that meant the dark brown coloured carousel would have to go! But where would I keep all the necessary bits and bobs that need to be handy? Give it a lick of white paint and use up the leftover papers from my Sweet Treat Box (available from Paper, Pen and Plan).

I'm really quite pleased with myself!

Mermazing!

Hello. Don't you love it when you have the perfect paper to match your stamp? And that you can actually find it in the mountain of paper in your stash!! Well, that happened to me today!

The stamp is from the Mermazing set by Neat and Tangled and the papers are Imagine That by Echo Park. I still want to make 'summery' cards even although the weather is definately telling me that summer is over!

Blogger's Journal - part 3

Hello. Following on from this blog post I've added another insert to my Blogger's Journal. This time it's a handy folder/envelope to hold some stickers. I covered the front of the folder using the gorgeous papers from this months Sweet Treat Box from Paper, Pen and Plan. I added some pompom trim down the side (as you do!)

And, there was another fab stencil in this months box so I decided to stencil the envelope using white ink. I added outlines using a fine black marker. That gorgeous paper clip was in the box too!

Here's the back, pretty much the same as the front!

Magazine Articles

Hello. Have you spied the latest magazines to hit the shelves? I have articles in both! In Cards and Crafts for Christmas I made a set of cards showcasing brand new Christmas dies from CraftStash.....

And in the Joanna Sheen box set I used the free gift to make gorgeous backgrounds.....

I have been taking commissions from Practical Publishing for a number of years now and it's still a thrill to see my cards in print.

Hobonichi - August 2018

Hello. Today I am sharing my monthly update on my Hobonichi. I am still (amazingly) up to date. And, believe it or not, it's time to think about next year! The Hobonichi store in Japan now has all the planners and covers in stock for next year. I still very much love my cover and so will just be ordering a new planner for the inside. I have filmed a quick flip through of August which you can see here. It ended up a very busy month!

Here are links to blog posts for April, May June.and July. From those blog posts there are links to that months flip through!
