Plan with me!

Hello. Here are next weeks planner pages. No colouring this week I simply stamped using Versamagic Dew Drop chalk inks - 'red brick' and 'aegean blue'. And look, how gorgeous is my pen? All gold and black and shiny and glittery! If you fancy a fancy pen then get yourself over to Paper, Pen and Plan Etsy shop here and quote LIZ10 for 10% off!

My February Sweet Treat Box arrived. Packed with delicious goodies. I'm loving the colours in this box. My February planner pages are going to look really smart! If you would like a closer look at all the goodies I have an unboxing video here on my You Tube channel.

hello friend

Hello. A super quick card today. Just dusted the background with chalk ink and the two little bears are from 'Friends for all Seasons - Fall' by Wplus9. I gave them a wash with my Zig pens. Job done.

I have a dental check-up in the morning so fingers crossed for me that nothing needs done!

Enjoy the small moments - it's all good

Hello. I have two cards to share today. Both using stamps from many years ago. I've often thought I should clear out my old stamps but you know I'm sort of attached to them all. And, as long as I have enough space I will continue to be a stamp hoarder.

And, I'm sorry to say, the names and makers of the stamps are not on the packaging but I think the one above is Daisy and the one below is Longsocks, but I might be wrong! I don't even know if you can still get these anywhere, they might even be crafty antiques! I know at the time Daisy was quite sought after.

I stamped using Versafine and coloured with Zig Real Brush markers and water.

Plan with me!

Hello. Today I am sharing next weeks planner pages. I am hoping this will become a regular feature on a Friday! Once again these are my pages 'before the pen'. This week I used stamps by Julie Nutting and coloured with my Prismacolour pencils and blending solution. I have made a quick 'how to' video here on my You Tube channel.

The new Julie Nutting Doll Stamp sets are available to pre-order over at Paper, Pen and Plan.

hello

Hello. Today I have created a little scene on my card. The cute gnome and snail are stamps from 'You Gnome Me' by My Favourite Things. The tree and fence are dies and the teeny daisies are punched. I coloured everything using my Inktense watercolour pencils.

I am entering the Cutie Pie challenge....January Blues

Chubby Chums

Hello. I have two cards to share today. Both of a similar style and both using stamps from the Chubby Chums set by Paper Smooches. The chums have both been given a quick wash with my watercolour pencils. The backgrounds have been cut using My Favourite Things Blueprints dies. The background papers are 'feels like fall' by Pretty Little Studio.

I am entering my card into 'If You Give a Crafter a Cookie' challenge. This is a new challenge to me but my friend Debra is on the design team and I just had to enter. Do pop over and enter if you get a chance.

I am also entering the Paper Smooches 'anything goes' challenge.

Have you noticed my posh new background? My old homemade lightbox finally collapsed. It served me well for 9 years! This one is homemade as well but using a sturdier box and lined with faux wood paper. I'm pretty chuffed with it.

Plan with me!

Hello. Today I am sharing next weeks planner pages. These are the pages 'before the pen' as we say in planner world! They have been spoofed up with stamps, colouring and washi tape but my actual plans for next week have not yet been filled in. Well, I don't want the whole world to know what I'm up to!

If you are keen to know more about how to stamp and watercolour on your planner pages then have a look at the quick video I made here on my You Tube Channel. All the details about the products used are in the video.

Milk Carton Gift Boxes

Hello. I was at my monthly Craftaholics Anonymous meet-up on Saturday. Many of the members volunteer to do demos at the meet. So far I have been shown a few crafts that are new to me. You may remember my blog posts about felt fairies and beaded snowflakes! This month I did a demo' and the ladies at my table all took away two or three Milk Carton Gift Boxes similar to the ones here.

The basic box shape is cut using a die. You can then decorate as much or as little as you want. I dug out my punches from the back of the cupboard. Really must use those border punches more now that the dust has been blown off them!

December Countdown - memory keeping

Hello. Today I have some memory keeping to share. To keep me on track I used daily prompts provided by the lovely ladies over at Paper, Pen and Plan. I pretty much kept to the prompts until
about the last week and then I went a bit off piste! I guess that's allowed as everyone's Christmas isn't the same!

On the 11th the prompt was Christmas movies. Although I enjoy Elf and Frozen my very favourite Christmas movie is The Holiday. It doesn't really feel like Christmas until I've watched it!

This is my page for the 9th - nature. We get allsorts of visitors to the bird feeder.
That's if they can get past the pesky squirrels!

And finally, here is the tree.
So that's a flavour of what's in my December album.

If you would like to see more there's a two minute flip through video of the whole album

Happy Birthday

Hello. My card today features a Penny Black stamp from the 'Happy Times' transparent set. I coloured using my Daniel Smith watercolour palette that was in my Sweet Treat Box this month. The diecut flowers have also had a touch of watercolour. The background paper is 'feels like fall' by Pretty Little Studio.

I am entering two challenges -
Creative Inspirations...something new. The wonky stitch circle die set is new.
Cute Card Thursday...anything goes.
