Papertake Weekly Challenge - design team card

Hello. It's Tuesday and so time for me to share my Papertake Weekly Challenge card.
This week the challenge is...
Take Your Pick
from...
 Colour - autumnal
Technique - embossing (any kind)
Product - distress inks
Sketch....

...or any sketch from the Papertake library of sketches!
So, plenty to choose from there. We have a very generous prize from our sponsor. A $25 gift voucher to spend in the wonderful online shop that is Simon Says Stamp.

I chose the colour challenge for my card. The stamp is Garden Visit by Penny Black. It was PB stamps that started me on this cardmaking hobby and I still love them. I coloured with my Stabilo pens, the papers are Gnome Sweet Gnome by My Minds Eye and the background pieces were cut using Blueprints dies.

Gear Up!

Hello. I have another 'one for the boys' card today. This time it features a stamp from the Bionic Bots set by My Favourite Things. I have also used up some really old stash. The zigzag paper, metal cogs and teeny tiny metal cogs have been with me forever!

Rightyho, see you tomorrow with my Papertake Weekly Challenge card.

Adorkable!

Hello. I treated myself to one of the new releases from SugarPea Designs (great service again from Make The Day Special). I couldn't resist this little fella. And he comes with little extra sciency (making up words again) stamps and punny sentiments. I coloured with copic marker pens and the papers are Scoot by Echo Park.

While I'm here I'll just remind you that I'm on the Trimcraft demo trail again. This Sunday I'll be in Carlisle from 11am to 4pm. So if you are in that neck of the woods stop by and say hello.

Whale You Be Mine?

Hello. Here I am with those punny sentiments again! The stamps are from a little Lawn Fawn set called 'Whale You Be Mine'. The circle was cut using 'jumbo peek-a-boo circle' by My Favourite Things. The blue wavy line paper is from a 6x6 pad 'Build a Scene' by Taylored Expressions and the heart paper is 'Finders Keepers' by Amy Tangerine.

Righty ho, must dash. I'm prepping for the start of my Christmas demos for Trimcraft. Have a nosey at my 'Find me Here' page, I'd love it if you could stop by and say hello!

Alpaca my scarf

Hello. Love this little stamp set from Lawn Fawn. But then I have always loved a punny sentiment! The centre circle 'notches' were cut using a die from the Scalloped Frames set by Avery Elle. The set doesn't die cut any shapes but adds scalloped cut out small lines - very effective. I coloured the alpaca using my Stabilo pens and a touch of water.

I'll be back tomorrow to share my Papertake Weekly Challenge card, see you then.

Listers Gotta List - Days 26 to 31

Hello. I have been steadily working my way through The Listers Gotta List Challenge. Don't know what I'm on about? Well, visit my Listers blog page here for all the info' (and for all my other August lists).

Most of what I have listed is self explanatory but let me tell you why 'wonky eyes' make an appearance! When I was a child I had a lazy eye. I had two operations and thankfully it was fixed. My husband tells me that one day the elastic band that's behind my eye will break and my eye will spin round and be wonky! He's such a darling!
