Organisation, New Stash and Magazine Article!

Hello. I subscribe to Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit. I love it, you get an exclusive stamp set, papers, card and co-ordinating extras. But, I am ashamed to say, each month I open my box, gaze lovingly at the stamps, stroke the papers and hardly ever make a card using these gorgeous goodies. Well, all that is about to change! See below....

I got these clear plastic zipper bags! The kits are now right there within arms reach complete with the inspiration sheet that comes with the kit. No more excuses!

OK, OK, I know, I know. I have all that Simon Says Stamp stuff to use before I should even think about more new stuff. But I am weak, and these are totally cool, and I had some Christmas money to spend, and what's a girl to do!

And finally, this month's Simply Cards and Papercraft is on the shelves now. My article this month is all about using a sketch. So you know the score. Wherever you are, whatever supermarket or newsagent you are in - move them to the front!!

I had to stop my Little Claire and Unity kits for the same reason, I am still drowning in stamps and still I buy more!

I guess we are all the same, hooked on stamp collecting!

Have to ask do you inhale the smell of the stamps or is it just a Karen thing. Love the clear plastic wallets to keep your self organised might try that idea.

Oh Liz.....start at kit 1 and then you are using old stuff not new!...lol. Those stamps look fabulous......and Christmas money has got to be allowed...can't waste it on clothes etc. Isn't it funny what pleasure paper, rubber, polymer and ink can bring us! Those non crafters don't know what they are missing...and they think we are the sad ones!! xx

I have only bought one of the SSS kits just to see if I liked them and I was really impressed & would love to get more. But you are right - out of sight, out of mind. I really need to see what I have or I forget about it. I re-arranged my craft room a year ago so I could see what I had which was the BEST thing I ever did!! Plus it stops you from buying something a 2nd time ;-)

One of my new years resolutions is to use up some of the crafty stash that I already have but I'm always tempted by new products. I really like the Clearly Besotted stamps, looking forward to seeing what you create.

I love finding your articles in the craft mags when they finally reach New Zealand Liz! Always makes me smile. I'll look out for this one! I'm having a lil' fun on my blog this month Liz, with a 'Top 12 of 2014' challenge. I'd love you to come link up with your favourite makes of the past year. If you've already done a 'Fav' cards' post, just link that. Hope you'll come join the fun. Big hugs and Happy New Year! Wends xxxx
