I'm on a break!

Hello. A lot of you will know that I'm in the middle of organising my Mum's move to her new home (thanks for all the kind wishes and cyber hugs - you will never know how much they have been needed!).

Up to now I have managed to find a few minutes here and there to be crafty and blog but with the move just this Friday and a major hic-cup with the electrics (don't ask!) I don't have any spare time at all.

I will (hopefully) be back next week some time.

It's your Birthday

Hello. Meet Duke the latest addition to the DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured Duke with Prismacolor pencils and the papers are from the 'Here and There' collection by Studio Calico. The whole of the Duke set is on special offer until 25th October.

Little Red Robin

Hello. Well the packing for my Mum's house move is coming along nicely. The last of the kitchen cupboards tomorrow and then the bedrooms over the weekend. The charity van is picking up her unwanted excess furniture on Monday, so we really do need to be organised by then. In the meantime I have managed to fit in a bit of crafty time (it's actually what's keeping me sane).

I watercoloured this Papermania 'Little Red Robin' stamp and used papers from the same range. Quick and easy but I'll be back over the weekend with something brand new and super cute from the DigiStamp Boutique.

gelli plate fun

Hello. Well as promised earlier in the week I am back to share my first attempts with my Gelli Plate. I have to say, it is as much fun as everyone says. I bought a box of acrylic paints so that I would have lots of colours but the tubes are really quite small. And that's the only thing - it does use more paint than I thought it would! But then think of the money I will save not buying patterned papers - hmmm, we'll see!

So, as well as the background on the card above I made these -

They look a bit samey but that's only because I need more stencils!

My card also features 'Elvis the Hedgehog' new in at The DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured Elvis with copics, cut him out and popped him up on 3D foam pads. Who says 'arty' backgrounds and digistamps don't work together.

Hello, it's time for another Papertake Weekly Challenge
And this week it's...

Two by Two

For my card I used one of the new Lili of the Valley stamps which I watercoloured. The sentiment stamp is by Hampton Art and I know this one will get used over and over, I love it!

OK then, that's it from me today. Last night I had a good old play with my new Gelli Plate, perhaps I will have something Gelli related to share later in the week!

Snow people

Hello. Just popping on to share a couple of quick makes using the super cute Snow People from The DigiStamp Boutique. The papers are by Doodlebug, I've had them for yonks and will be sad when they are gone! I coloured with copics, added some diecuts, an LOTV sentiment, some buttons and job done.
