Thanks...for being there

Tonight's card includes a couple of new crafty things. Washi tape and a gorgeous image from Jellypark (which is a freebie you can snag from their facebook page). I watercoloured the image and I guess it's pretty obvious what I did with the tape!

Birthday Wishes

The other week in my local crafty shop I picked up a couple of packs of these pre-coloured cuties. Now, true to form, I have thrown out the packaging but I am sure they are from 'Wee Stamps'. If you know better let me know! Brilliant for makes in a hurry. Although saying that, this has been half complete on my desk for three days! Where did this week go?

I am entering two challenges...

The Ribbon Girl...pink and green

Two little spooky dudes to share today, both from The DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured with copics/ promarkers and the papers are by BoBunny.

And, did you notice? I have a brand new, customised especially for me, watermark. Great service from Whimsy Stamps.

Scavenger Hunt Round-Up

Well, I made it! All twenty-one ticked off the list. They are spread over eight posts here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here. Phew! Thanks so much to Rinda for organising this.

Now, what's my favourite shot? Actually I really can't pick one. The fountain because we had a lovely day at the park?  The train? Because it was a real giggle scrambling for the camera at a level crossing before the train sped past. The bride and the swing because I could hardly contain my excitement when we arrived at our holiday hotel and there was a wedding and a swing!

Bring on next year!

Friendship tag

It's a beautiful day here today, a bit chilly but blue sky sunny. And it's to be the same tomorrow, so I think I'll take Mum for a drive rather than our usual trip to the shops. Who knows, if we end up at the coast there may even be a fish supper involved!

So, onto today's little creation. A tag using one of my favourite Teddy Bea's. I coloured with distress markers sloshing the ink about a bit with a paintbrush. The flowers are a Martha Stewart punch and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

I am entering two challenges...

Digi Galore...for a friend
Cute Card Thursday...a different shape

Joyeux Noel

Another one for my Christmas box, maybe I will have enough this year! I have gone embossing crazy on this one. Both the stag stamp and the background sentiment stamp are from Crimson Cloud. I stamped using scattered straw distress ink pad and heat embossed with clear powder.

I am entering two challenges...

Cupcake Craft...script and gold
Simon Says Stamp...emboss it

Photography Scavenger Hunt

The final four shots, just made it, the deadline is tomorrow! Thanks so much to Maria for organising this. Looking forward to next years hunt already.

 Number 2 - a clothesline.
Well, a whirlygig - the modern equivalent of a clothesline. Hope it counts.
 Number 11 - a shadow.
Captured last night in my bedroom.
 Number 18 - a movie poster.
On the side of a double decker bus - another shot taken from the car!

 And finally.
Number 6 - a historical landmark.
This is a statue of Robert Burns (also known as Rabbie Burns) who is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and celebrated world wide. Most famous for 'Auld Lang Syne'.

Photography Scavenger Hunt

The deadline for the photography scavenger hunt is Friday. So I am making a final sprint for the line. Four photos today and four tomorrow (two of which are in the bag) and all twenty-one will have been ticked off the list!
Number 19 - an outdoor stairway.
 Number 13 - a library.
 Number 14 - a person playing with a ball.
And as Scotland is the home of golf it seemed an obvious choice. If you look hard you can see the ball flying through the air (just above the guy's head).

Number 21 - a picture of you standing with something that symbolises your nation.
This picture was taken in Glasgow city centre during the Olympics. The Olympics were a huge success and I feel it definately symbolises Great Britain in the year 2012.

Just for You

No hexagons today - just many, many circles! I even ventured around a circle with my sewing machine - never again! Anyway, this little cutie is from the Fairy Collection over in the DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured with prisma pencils and the papers are 'sewing bee' by My Minds Eye.

I am entering the challenge over on Digital Tuesday - things with wings.

I have also learned a hard lesson today - read the challenges properly. I was going to enter Cupcake - use script. But, oh no, the challenge is script and gold. That challenge will need to wait for another day.

Merry Christmas

Another quick and easy card. This time I have used Murphy from The DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured with my Prisma pencils and the papers are 'Home for Christmas' by Papermania.

And if you make a card using one of the Boutique's cute images remember to enter the customer competition. There's a £15 voucher up for grabs. All the info' is here.

Less is most definitely more for todays card! My cute little bear is from a Penny Black set 'eat cake' and I coloured with distress pens. The papers are 'nostalgia' by My Minds Eye.

I am entering this weeks Papertake Challenge - things that make you go awwww! 'Cos bears always make me go awwww!

Photography Scavenger Hunt

The deadline for the scavenger hunt is fast approching so I am making a final push for the finishing line! We managed to get away for a few days last week and I couldn't believe my luck when we arrived at the hotel. A wedding and a swing! Two of the very things I was struggling to find.

Number 16 - a bride.
Number 20 - a swing hanging from a tree.
Number 3 - a border.
I had been planning to nab the Scotland/England border but we whizzed by so fast on the motorway that we missed it!

Number 5 - a train.
A frantic scramble for the camera while we were at a level crossing!

I only have a few left to get including some fairly easy ones. So I am hoping that I will be finished by the 21st deadline.

sew sweet

Here is my entry for this week's Cupcake Craft Challenge 'in stitches'. I have used a Penny Black stamp 'embroidered' and coloured with distress pens. The papers are quilting bee by My Minds Eye and the letters are die cut with some faux stitching.

Don't you just love the look on that little kitty's face?

new home

I'm back with a little card I've made for the In The Pink challenge 'anything but square'. All the images are from a BoBunny stamp set. I stamped, coloured with copics and trimmed. I'm disappointed with my sentiment stamping, but hey ho it adds to the naive feel I suppose!

And guess what? My last pink card was chosen as a 'perfect pinky'. Woohoo!

OK then, I bet I've missed loads so I will be around the blogs for a nosey later!
