Photo Scavenger Hunt - part 3

No.1 - a pier.
Another one ticked off the list, oh I do love ticking things off lists! So this is the pier at Helensburgh. A little town about 45 minutes from my home. The water you see is the Firth of Clyde and the town's claim to fame is John Logie Baird, the inventor of television, was born here.

As you can see it was a blustery day but we still managed a walk along the 'front'. Then, in good Scottish tradition, had fish suppers for tea. And a single sausage for the hound!

Ooh, I love the idea of the scavenger hunt.. don't think I will be going anywhere near a pier though!!
Love your pic - it sounds like you had a great day. You can't beat fresh air and fish and chips.
