so sweet

Today I had loads of crafty time. So all my DT work is in the bag and I had time to do a challenge card, and this is it.

I used 'sugar sweet dreams' by Penny Black and coloured with water colour pencils. The dotty paper is 'alphabet soup' by My Minds Eye and the twine is from the ribbon girl (my seam binding is on the way, missed the bus first time round).

I am entering my card into 5 challenges.....

Cupcake....food for thought

Simon Says.....animal antics

Creative Inspirations.....buttons and bows

The Spotted Chick.....krafty thursday

Allsorts....saving nature (I used card from a box, behind the flowers)

That's it for today, but just wait till you see the cuties Sally-Ann has lined up for February over in the DigiStamp Boutique. New release day is tomorrow!

Oh, and don't forget to check out my little piece of candy.

happy day

Have you noticed my current fad? No, not the friendly flags again! Yep, it's stamping directly onto my card. This time I used my Hero Arts 'happy definition' for the background. To get a white space I used a square post it note over the middle of the stamp. Worked a treat.

I stamped 'hedge delivery' by Penny Black in the space and coloured with water colour pencils.

I then stamped out three Hero Arts buttons, coloured with copics and cut them out (really to cover the corner where the post it note didn't quite do the trick).
I added a stamped sentiment and doodled round the hedgie and the edge of the card.

I am entering this card into the current Delightful Challenges....Celebration.

Good Morning Penny Black fans.

very special to me

So here I am back as promised with the results of last nights play time! Lately I have been stamping straight on to my card blanks and I am loving that look. So I thought, why not try it with a digi stamp. Using one of the latest releases from the DigiStamp Boutique 'Valentine Birds' I pulled it off!

I am entering my card into the challenge over on Papertake....ribbons and pearls.

happy birthday

Just a quick post tonight to show my latest creation. It follows the super sketch on Sunday Sketch and Stamp. The spotty dog image is from the DigiStamp Boutique and I coloured with copics. Used those letter stamps again, told you I would!

Sally-Ann has sent me some of the latest releases from the Boutique so I'm off now to have a play. All being well I will share tomorrow.

new home

I've just found a brand new challenge blog 'Do It With Digi's'. Well, I love to do it with digi's so I had to get creating. I have used one of the little houses from the new home collection at the DigiStamp Boutique. I coloured with promarkers/copics and the papers are bobunny and little yellow bicycle (double sided).

I had a re-org' of the crafty cupboard and found these small letter stamps. Have now moved them to the front so you will no doubt be seeing them again!

I am entering my card into.....

Do It With Digi's.....new beginnings.

Good Morning Penny Black fans.

It's Saturday and that means a brand new challenge and this week it's......

.....a card buffet.
So along with your image you get to choose 4 items!

My card is very (very) bright and bold this week. It just sort of happened! I used a Penny Black slapstick stamp 'loving and hugging' coloured with copic pens. The papers are by Doodlebug and I picked up the felt flowers at Tesco.

And here are this weeks prizes from our regular sponsor Penny Black.
One lucky winner will receive.....

We had three fabulous prizes last week so pop over to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, you might be a lucky winner. While there you can feast your eyes on this weeks inspiration from my team mates.

And, just before I go, there is still lots of time to enter the 'new beginnings' challenge over on Crafty Calendar.

Wednesday 12 January 2011

hello

Can't stop using my new friendly flags stamps! This time I used the plain flag and coloured with copics/promarkers. I then doodled the lettering and all the dots. The image, Penny Black 'cat bath' is stamped directly on to the card base and coloured with watercolour pencils.

I am entering my card into two challenges....

Cupcake and My Partner in Crafting Crime, both challenges are 'something new'. My something new is, of course, my new favourite stamps (well, this week) Hero Arts 'friendly flags'.

OK then, early night for me. First full week back at work for ages, still two days to go and I'm exhausted!

Monday 10 January 2011

you're special

Meet the cutest most loved up couple in the digi stamping world...Pippa and Sonny from the DigiStamp Boutique. I used my Prisma pencils to colour this time, so relaxing. The papers are by First Edition 'animal antics' and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

special treasures

When I first got my big shot all you could get were the sizzix shape dies. I had some but hardly used them, so I thought my considered purchase of a big shot was a mistake, how wrong was I?

Along came nesties, embossing folders, etc and now I couldn't make a card without the big fella! But I still have those original dies I hardly use. Well, I got them out from the back of the crafty cupboard and am determined to use them. So here is a card with die cut balloons, quite effective.

The stamp is from my new Penny Black set 'a good catch' coloured with water colour pencils. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.

I am entering my card into the Papertake challenge....anything goes.

Tuesday 4 January 2011

make me smile

I thoroughly enjoyed making a card similar to this the other day. This one instead of colouring the friendly flags I embossed them. I made this card for the challenge on Cupcake, white is white. The stamp is a Penny Black 'bun-bun', very cute.

Monday 3 January 2011

Pippa sending lots of love

It's well seen I am off work until Wednesday, two posts in one day! But I just had to show you Pippa, one of a brand new set of images in the DigiStamp Boutique.

I paper pieced her dress and shoes with papers from basic grey 'marjolaine' and used copics/promarkers to colour the rest.

I followed this weeks sketch at Sketch and Stash. My new item is the image.

a simple thank you

Well Tron 3D was disappointing I don't recommend it. The only good thing about it was the Magnum (which I managed to eat in the dark without getting it all over myself).

Anyways here is a card using my Banana Frog build-a-bloom. This time I stamped out the petals onto white card, coloured with copics/promarkers and cut out. The sentiment is by Hero Arts and the twine from the Ribbon Girl.

I am entering these two challenges....

Allsorts....thank you

Cute Card Thursday....thank you

Sunday 2 January 2011

happy birthday

A new year and some new stamps to use. A new Penny Black 'flutter-bye', that fat little hedgie is so cute! And new Hero Arts 'friendly flags'. I stamped the hedgie directly on to my card base and coloured with water colour pencils. I stamped the flags on to white card, coloured with copics/promarkers and cut out.

I am entering my card into the challenge over on Creative Card Crew.....Birthdays.

Off out to the cinema tonight. Booked to see Tron 3D at the Imax. It's hubby's choice, well, we watched The Holiday last night so I can't complain!
