Pretty in Pink

Evie from the DigiStamp Boutique looks very pretty in pink, don't you think?

I can only take photographs in the daylight at the weekend now. So my plan is going to be take the photo inside as best I can, post them and then replace them the next weekend. It does make a huge difference to the colours. What does everyone else do? I have read that some of you use a 'light box'. What are they and do they work?

Now, if I can only convince DH that taking very early retirement is a good idea or at the very least part time this problem would be solved!

I have coloured Evie with Copics and I have used Doodlebug paper. I glitterfied her wings and the little flowers. I am entering this card into 5 challenges.....

Stamp Somethings......thanks for a fab sketch.
Cupcake....digi image.
Allsorts....for a child.
Papertake....digi sparkle.
Cute Card Thursday....glitter me silly.

HiLiz,

yes, she does look pretty in pink. I love the shading on her dress. I take my pics under the kitchen spot lights. It's a bit awkward because of the shadow but I can't get a decent picture anywhere else at the moment.

I was inspired by the glitter me silly thing and got a tad carried away. Never mind taking photos in winter, does anyone know how to get glitter out your wrinkles?

Hi Liz,
Sorry I haven't visited for a while, I've been catching up with life beyond blogging!
Such a cute card, love all the pinks.
I've just sussed my photos in the last couple of days. I switch the main lights off so there's no shadow, the I shine my craft lamp over my card which I lay flat on the table, then I take my photo from above the craft lamp, again to eliminate shadow, I find I need to use the zoon to get close enough. I hope this helps.

HI Liz! It's been a while since I stopped by your blog - OMG your cards are fabulous! I've become a follower so I never miss out! (BTW - now that I do less Iris Folding and more and more and more stamping, my hubs no longer refers to me as "The Stripper" Thankfully!!) :)
